Apple has just announced a new iPod nano which is the 7th generation of the hugely popular device. The new nano is larger than the previous model as it comes with a 2.5-inch screen and has physical controls on the side and even has a home button too. It has a similar look to an iPhone but obviously it is much smaller and thinner coming in at just 5.4mm thick.
The new iPod nano will have a built in FM tuner with live pause, pedometer, wide screen video playback, Bluetooth and the longest battery life of any iPod nano. Only disappointment is the shape, its now a rectangular shape instead of square so the idea of a nano watch looks out of the question now. The new iPod nano will be available in seven different colors, gray, black, purple, green, blue, yellow, pink and a special Product Red version with a portion of the proceeds going to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa.
The new iPod nano is available with a 16GB storage capacity and costs $149.
