Galaxy has launched Gift for You ? a limited edition self-eat treat in time for Autumn/Winter 2011.
Galaxy Gift for You combines two of the most popular Galaxy tastes in one; half solid, Galaxy chocolate and the other half caramel-filled Galaxy chocolate in a present shape featuring a chocolate bow.
As the latest Mars product to enter the Christmas self-eat category, Galaxy Gift for You is being positioned as ?me-time treat? for moments of indulgence ? it can be snapped into four squares of chocolate.
Galaxy Gift for You is also a being pushed to appeal as a gift or stocking filler.
The launch comes as the self-eat category experiences a massive 34 per cent growth, whilst the Galaxy brand continues to be the biggest Mars brand with double digit growth every year for the last five years and supported with a staggering ?11m media spend.
Bep Dhaliwal, Mars trade communications manager, said:
