Avoiding the pain of home business failure is something that most people miss. Sadly, 95% of all new home based businesses fail in their first 90 days based on data extrapolated from the last 50 years of the home business industry.
What is most important is not the specific failure rate over the last half decade, but how you can easily avoid being another sad statistic on someone's chart. There are many ways to create true and lasting success when beginning an online business and I am going to break them down here for you so there is absolutely no misunderstanding about it.
First of all, the single most biggest mistake I see people make when starting their own home business is that they fail to do the proper due diligence as I like to call it. That means you need to fully investigate the company, products, systems, and potential sponsor before you plunk down your money.
Too many people get sucked into believing everything they hear these days and end up leaning on their emotions rather than getting all the facts and making an educated business decision. Make sure you know all of the start up costs, ongoing costs (like product purchase, advertising, typical monthly expenses and so one up front).
Getting a clear understanding of the business, and how they operate does not mean having a guarantee of success. The last time I checked in life, there aren't any guarantees. And for that matter if you are looking for "guaranteed" success, you won't find it because there isn't any person, product or company that could (or would) ever guarantee to make someone else successful. Success is always dependent upon each person, not just a company, or service.
Life is all about taking educated risks and then taking action, and one of the biggest factors that separates successful entrepreneurs form those who fail is that the successful ones tend to gather the facts quickly, make their decision promptly, and then change slowly. The people who take forever to decide to start something and then change their mind quickly are the ones who keep failing over and over.
The other big reason that people experience regret, disappointment and failure in their new home business venture is because of poor decisions based on poor thinking. What do I mean by that? I mean that people who relate their future only their past are the one's who continue creating new failures in their life. Proper mindset is vital and setting a standard of expecting success is what will put more people in profit mode more than almost anything else.
The other 2 components to succeeding online are having an experienced mentor who has got the kind of results that you want as well as earning big commissions on each sale rather than making $20 or $50 commissions over and over.
Take the time to get educated, then talk with your sponsor(s), and then take action and be consistent. Once you do, you'll soon look back and see that creating a profitable online business from home wasn't so difficult after all.
