Blended family etiquette - Single Parents Forum: Single Family Voices

Okay I am going to try and keep an open mind here. My ex is about to move in with his 3rd live in girl friend in 5 years and I want this to go better than the first two. Track record so far:
1) Son was 13 months-I threatened to call the police on her. I had just left my ex about 3 weeks earlier and when I dropped off my son to him. I felt something off so I drove around the corner and waited 15 minutes. Then I drove back to our house which I had just left- knocked on the door and met his ex. He went to work and left my son with someone he just barely knew or someone he had been dating while we were still married. Either way I told her to hand over my son or I would call the police. So that one started off bad.
2) Son was 3yrs old- My ex had had his DL revoked. I had to email his Girlfriend and explain to her that my ex is not suppose to drive my son and make sure she would be driving my son to and from my house for visitation. She started sending me horrible emails and calling me a b*** and told me not to contact her. Then before she broke up with my ex she sent me text telling me I needed to contact child services becuase my ex was dong drugs and was unsafe. I flipped out that did not end well. I told my ex that he needed to do something because she is saying he is unfit I do not heve to deal with that. Plus she is sending me texts saying you are abusive. If you stay with her are simply picking her over your son, becuase I do not have to deal with her emotional BS. He left her a few weeks later. Last November-
Okay so now I am on a new lady- He told me he has been dating her for 5 months and he is moving in with her. What is the normal person protocol in this situation. This lady is 39 and has never had kids.
1) Am I out of line asking for her contact info. I am ready and willing to give her mine. Just to use in emergencies.
2) Should there be an official get to know meeting/lunch. Granted I know my ex would be uneasy about that one. Part of me just wants to ask her right in front of him today. I am trying to take the high road so I will pass.
