The origins of angel tattoos for women and what they depict in modern

In ancient Greece , the word angellos translates as messenger and this is where the term angel originates from us these celestial beings were deemed to be messengers from God sent to guide and aid humans on His behalf. This popular image is widely used in body art designs today and there are many beautiful angel tattoo designs for women around, if you have either a theological or spiritual interest in this subject. Not only do these look quite exquisite when inked on the female body but they are also rich in personal symbolism whether the wearer is paying homage to a deceased loved one through their choice of body art or simply likes the idea of having a Guardian Angel.
